Birthday parties at the Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company are unique and one of a kind experience that your family and child will never forget. We have been perfecting our parties for almost two decades and have been told by many families that our parties are the best in Baltimore County for the following reasons...
A birthday to remember...

We are one of the only fire companies in the area that gives fire engine rides where your birthday boy/girl can sit up front with their friends in the back while we drive through our neighborhoods. Yes! We will blow the siren and air horns!

We open up our engine bay, and allow your group to look through our equipment, and ask any questions which come to mind.

We have a real fire pole that one of our fire fighters will demonstrate.

We give a 20-30 minute fire safety talk where a fire fighter will get dressed in real fire gear with the air bottle/mask while another fire fighter explains what each piece of gear is for and talks all about fire safety.

We pull our fire engine out, extend a real fire hose and each child gets a chance to put out the “flames” of our wooden squirt house. Adults can try holding the firehose at near full pressure with one of our trained fire fighters behind you.

We have a designated spot in our engine bay where you may hang a piñata for extra fun for the kids.

11:00 am – Arrive at firehouse
11:05 – 11 15 - Explore firehouse and apparatus
11:15 - 11:45 - Fire engine rides
11:45 – 12:00 - Squirt house
12:00 – 12:15 - Refreshments provided by family
12:15 – 12:30 – Fire safety demo
12:30 – 12:45 – Cake provided by family
12:45 – 1:00 – Piñata (If provided) and tour of gear room
