On Sunday, Engine 501 responded for a fire in a single family home off of Smith Ave in Pikesville. Upon arrival, Engine 2 had most of the fire out with assistance from the crew on Tower 323. Initially dispatched as a dwelling fire with rescue, the fire was contained to the kitchen and extinguished by fire department personnel very quickly.
