Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley has ordered the United States Flag and Maryland State Flag flown at half-staff on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, from sunrise to sunset. This is in memory of Major Robert J. Marchanti II, of Westminster, Maryland, who died on February 25, 2012 in Kabul, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
